Steppin’ In The Limelight
Man, oh man, oh MAN! I've been in a good mood this week.
So, lately, I've been tightening up TSE™ business. More paperwork, less drama, the works. And I'm happy to say that we've been making some new connections and big things are on the horizon. Plans for events, new releases, interviews, radio play, SOOOO much. It's about to be crazy!
Let me calm down…
After finally acquiring our virtual address, which comes with an office space and receptionist to greet guests (be sure to tell them hi), and getting a grip on our other legal troubles, I decided to reflect and unwind a bit. Lighting my pre-rolled, moonrock-infused joint, I take a few hits and breeze off into my thought chambers. I started thinking about all the different ways I could expand TSE. We're more than a label. We're more than anything anyone can call us because we are indescribable. That might have been the weed talking in that last bit but I meant every word of it.

I remembered an underground website that hosted Hip-Hop and all its sub-genres. I started thinking Grovey would fit well on a platform like that. It's very niche and truly gives off the aesthetic of an underground hub for buzzing artists. It's called Dopetrackz Radio. I had found them while scrolling through Instagram, looking for my next big star. I stumbled upon promoters, producers, A&Rs, lawyers, and the like. Then I found Dopetrackz. I really like their style. They aren't the only ones either. So many that I have yet to get in contact with because the rest of this year and the start of 2025 is gonna be explosive.
Other things I have in mind are our televised productions. I started Solare Films sometime a couple years ago after I had a falling out with my former film buddies. They were holding out on payments and basically little-boying me, but anyway…
True Soundz will have its own brand of reality series as well as a roster of documentaries. I love documentaries. I feel like the best ones are the ones that are entertaining yet informative and leave a lasting impact on you. And that's exactly what I'm going for with TSE Films. I'm still deciding on whether or not I want to make it an actual thing or if I'm just gonna have the name placed on releases for marketing purposes. I don't know yet but we'll see. I have a good feeling about Solare. I feel like it's going to be one of my other bigger companies. People love movies. A film company can still survive and make a fortune if the people behind it know what they're doing and are not only savvy business people but also people who understand and appreciate art.
Because that's the real reason the film industry is dying. Lack of artistic merit and creativity. Everything's the same and whatever isn't the same is just straight garbage. It's all being done on purpose. Hollywood has to project an image of splendor and extravagant entertainment in order to sell tickets and discs. But over time, that business model morphed into being more about selling to a widespread audience. No more are the definitive crime movies, the iconic horror movies, and riveting tapes of faraway lands and galaxies. Now it's all just rinse and repeat.
I digress…

Success is a very hard pill to swallow. It's jagged, it's sour, it kinda tastes stale. But after some time, that sour becomes sweet. It's true what the old philosopher once said: “It is often through the path of pain that one finds themselves at pleasure”. I believe that was Marquis de Sade. Fascinating guy, you should Google him.
I want success but I don't necessarily want all that comes with it. All I truly desire is to make enough money to be financially free. And to continue to expand my wealth so that I can distribute it to others in meaningful and impactful ways. I don't do any of this for prestige, clout, or any kind of brownie points anyone's offering. I don't need it. What I need is a solid team that'll help me take this company to the top. And while I've got my sights set on the limelight, it's only so that I can help set the stage for my artists and anyone else who wants to be down with The Diamond 💎
I didn't have too much to say for this entry. I just wanted to reflect on my BOSS thoughts and let you all in on them for a spell. I've got some more planning to do. Gotta hit up Grovey and get something organized. I love making progress and I LOVE putting plans into action. Hitting those milestones is like hitting the lottery in succession!
Business is better than sex, I swear…
Sincerely yours, Mr. Mogul 💎
