Mellowing In The Mist

Peace, EverySoul. Not everybody. Every SOUL! Because we’re more than just our physical selves. We exist in much higher dimensions and realities. Hope you’re all doing everything you want to do. I wish you all nothing but the best and send nothing but positive energy your way. I’ve been reflecting a lot again, as I do. I’m in a much better space than I was before. Taking the time to breathe and let go of things for a while has been very beneficial for me. Lately, I’ve found myself dreaming about places I’ve been to but can longer remember where they are. It’s strange.

Business has been going great. Every day, no matter how exhausted and stressed I am from third shift…every day, I make space to learn something new, work on the company, expand my knowledge, improve on my personal issues, just everything I need to do to become the best version of my-SELF. Self is everything. You're nothing without your Self. Not just your name, your favorite color, food, or sex position. It’s deeper than all of that. Like I said, we exist on planes that are far beyond the average person’s comprehension. Many don’t innerstand. Some of us truly are just built differently due to everything we’ve been through in our timelines; the current life that we’re experiencing.

Love has been on my heart a lot lately. I’m done with dating apps. It’s a cesspool. Kinda done with social media in general. I always knew that these apps held unrealistic expectations, not only for themselves, but for their own users. Like, it’s crazy. How the hell did all of these social media apps go from being just basic tools to add to the overall experience of the internet to being full-fledged one-stop shops for budding corporations and over-exposed “influencers”?

As a CEO, I have to innerstand the in-depth logistics of this phenomenon. It all boils down to our economy not being as stable as it should be and therefore, companies have found other ways to squeeze more labor out of the working and middle class (What left of it there is…) while increasing the value of already established brands/companies. Not a new strategy, by any means. But this has gone a bit off the scale, wouldn’t you agree? I don’t know. I guess we’ll see what happens when they all inevitably implode on themselves and we’re left to create our own companies/platforms. OH WAIT, THAT’S ALREADY HAPPENING!

Yeah, it’s been on the rise for the last decade. At least, as far as the Internet Age. People have always had a means of gathering together, discussing whatever, and doing whatever they pleased. But when it comes to today’s Age, we’ve definitely been climbing up the ladder a lot. It pains me to hear us melanted folk say that there “aren’t any/enough Black businesses”, when they’re so horribly wrong. We’ve got companies in just about every industry. There’s directories listing HUNDREDS of Black-Owned businesses if people just cared to Google them.

Ha, I’m supposed to be mellowing. I can’t help it. I love what I do and I love everything that goes into it. Perhaps not the shady, villainous underworld aspect of it, but for sure the growth, financial stability, and ability to give back to the world in a positive way that elevates people. That’s what I strive to do, I’ve said it before. You’re gonna hear a lot more about what I’ve got planned for 2025. The Year of Nine, for those of you in-tuned. Yes, much to come and much to accomplish. I brought up the Black businesses because I’ve also been noticing more collaborations and coalitions being formed between these companies. And that’s fucking phenomenal! Like, yo, if people would just get in the loop of these things, they’d know that we have resources abound. It’s only when we dwell into European-propagated media that we get blinded by what's right in front of us. And that’s exactly what they want. I won’t get too much into that. I’ve got many blogs to write about that particular matter.

I was a contestant on a game show a month or so back. It’s here if you guys wanna see it. Not gonna lie, it got pretty tough but some of the questions I definitely should’ve known. I still won some cash, though. Let me tell you how it came to be. So I follow another entrepreneur on Instagram. Or I should say, entreprenHER. She goes by LaShiaStar, or Ky Smith. I was intrigued by her online game show, “Play or Pass” which I hadn't seen from a melanated creator yet. She also has a talk show that goes live every Monday. The game show is every Tuesday. I watched a few episodes and really got into the concept.

After a while, she invited me to be a contestant on Play or Pass. I also had the opportunity to feature on her talk show but some things came up and I couldn’t do it. That changed last week when I finally got on to discuss the debate over “Gentle Parenting” and “Old School Parenting”. Topics like those get me riled up so I HAD to speak on it. Might even write an entry about it, being a victim, and yes, victim, of said “Old School” parenting. Some of our elders didn't get it right and are now so stubborn they refuse to see the error of their ways. And they wonder why there’s a generation gap. Some things aren’t meant to be settled, I guess. Best we all just move on and enjoy our own lives. Let those still stuck in misery wallow for as long as they please….

What else is on my mind? Oh, I’m getting ready to relocate. Not telling where but it’s in the same town I live now. I wanted to be as close to work as possible so I didn’t have to worry about any hassles getting there. I take a back road and hit the highway so it’s not too bad. But this new place is a little further in town so yeah, we’ll see how that goes. Oh, damn, I forgot I had to make a car vlog. I can finally do those 🙂

I’m glad to be getting away from my family. I’m at the point where it’s no beef or ill-will towards them but maaaaaan, if I don’t get out of here ASAP! Can’t even invite a lady to play Twister with….
